I dont understand what is wrong with my solution for GRPH problem. If I am reading it correctly, for each sequence in the file if length 3 suffix of that sequence matches length 3 prefix of sequences after it, then it is a match. Am I understanding this correctly?

I know we are supposed to just keep trying, but I think I'm out of ideas. I tried to do a manual spot check on one of the datasets where my solution was marked as incorrect, and it seemed like everyone I checked was correct. The format seems fine. Just curious if anyone has been stuck on REVP and had a eureka to share. It seemed like a straightforward question, but maybe I'm missing a subtle point. Thanks!

The problem states "Find the most frequent k-mers with mismatches in a string." This could mean find that string with the most matches of hamming distance d or better, or it could mean, find that string /in the text/ with the most matches...

Hi, I have been inactive with my lotrus28 account for a long time. But I've decided to restart using Rosalind. Sure I couldn't recall the password but i couldn't even remember the e-mail to recover it. All my current e-mails are not in your DB so it's quite likely I used some 10minute site to register. Could you please remind me the e-mail I used? Or could you even send me the recovery message to lotus28@mail.ru? Thanks a lot, Fedor Galkin

Is there an option to give feedback to my students from within my virtual classroom? I would like to click on their solution, and then be able to give the student some feedback on their solution. I am not aware that that is possible right now.

The wording "some prefix" implies it can match more than one. However, for each string, there is only one unique prefix of length k. Or am I misunderstanding something here? Thank you. Alex.

When you ask "The probability that at least N Aa Bb organisms will belong to the k-th generation of Tom's family tree" do you mean the probability that N AaBb organisms selected from all of the individuals that have been bred up to generation k belong to the kth generation or do you mean the probability that the kth generation has N AaBb organisms? Or do you mean something else?

The answer given for "CUNR Counting Unrooted Binary Trees" example is 15. I believe it should be 5. 15 is the answer for the number of rooted trees given 5 texa.

It's markdown format, see http://daringfireball.net/projects/markdown/basics. Newline is two spaces at the end of line.
